Karri Thompson

I'm a music FREAK, writing FANATIC, and LOVER of Victorian literature. Some of my favorite bands are Nothing More, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Seether, Pearl Jam, Chevelle, Slipknot, Disturbed, and Soundgarden - basically any EDGY, HOT alternative rock bands -- but I sometimes listen to pop and country music, too.

 

I attend the SAN DIEGO  International COMIC-CON every year and love seeing and meeting CELEBRITIES.

 

Some of the authors who hold SPECIAL places in my HEART  are Charles Dickens, J.R.R. Tolkien, J. K. Rowling, Billie Letts, John Steinbeck, and Ernest Hemingway.

 

I grew up in San Diego County and attended SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY, earning a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in education, and my teaching credential.

 

I'm a high-school English TEACHER in the East County of San Diego where I also live with my husband, John, our son, Kyle, and two dogs. 

I lead a very busy life, but when I'm not teaching, grading papers, or spending time with my family, I find time to write novels, my greatest PASSION.
